That creaking you hear is Steve " Huff & Puff " Madley trying to get back off the limb he finds himself on after Larry " The Mayor Guy " gave his breakfast speech on how he is going to achieve " 0 means 0 " The speech is long on ideas but short on specifics. Does anybody remember " The 1000 days of change " or the vaunted "Transit Plan " ?
The question now is, how is " Huff & Puff " going to keep the natives on the reservation. Recently he wrapped the knuckles of Rob " Tory " Snow for suggesting the mayor wouldn't be able to keep his promises.

In a recent editorial, The Globe & Mail claimed “ Canada is a relatively highly taxed nation “ Not so, says Joseph Frankovic, tax lawyer, adjunct professor, Osgoode Hall Law School. Canada’s total taxes are actually lower than both the G7 and OECD average and median tax levels. In other words, we pay less tax (measured as a percentage of GDP) than most G7 and OECD countries. He goes on to say, " So we are highly taxed relative to what? Mars, maybe, but not countries on this planet. "

The reason the Conservatives are trying to force an early election, is an attempt to try and hide the scandals that are presently dogging the party. They are being conducted by Elections Canada ( In and out election financing scandal ); Privacy Commissioner ( Compiling of mailing lists ) and the Ontario Provincial Police ( The Mayor O'Brien investigation ) This one has the potential to be the most embarrassing to the local Tory MPs and one MPP .
